Welcome to the Hawthorne Pride Alliance website which is designed to keep the community informed of the activities that the HPA ("Hawthorne Pride Alliance") does in order to encourage understanding and inclusivity within the community. The Hawthorne Pride Alliance was developed to dedicate, to motivate and to celebrate the members of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies.
The Hawthorne Pride Alliance is an independent organization and it is not affiliated, nor shall it be affiliated or endorsed by any political party, religious group, or governmental agency. The President, and Vice President, along with members in good standing, will fill the Alliance in a non-partisan manner choosing residents who want to work to bridge the gap between the LGBTQ+ community and the community at large. Through education, visibility and presence, the Hawthorne Pride Alliance will work together with members of the LGBTQ+ community, and their allies, in a nonpartisan manner to educate, motivate, appreciate, elevate, dedicate and inspire the LGBTQ+ community.
