2024 Strategic Plan
After a brief holiday break, the HPA has begun to plan the year ahead as we pledge to “do more in 2024.” This exchange of ideas gave us moments of reflection as the active members of the HPA answered the question of “Why do we do what we do and how can we become better?” That essential question led us to develop this 2024 Strategic Plan.
Our Strategic Plan is now, for the most part, complete and will provide us with a solid direction as to the activities we are doing as an Alliance leading up to the County Wide Pride Fest in June.
Ongoing Goals:
Provide high quality educational presentations resulting in 90% satisfaction.
Provide the community with a detailed and informative newsletter by the 15th of each month.
Sponsor monthly events that highlight the mission statement of the Alliance.
Increase our donor base by 15% within the next six months.
Strengthen our relationship with Passaic County Community College by using their site for different events while also involving the students of the College to join.
Continue with monthly meetings to collaboratively maintain our programming.
New Projects
By June 2024 ,co-sponsor a well attended County Wide Pride Fest.
By October 2024, provide an educational Leadership Summit that would include high school and college LGBTA/ GSA’s.
Increase outreach and educational programming that educates the community on the LGBTQ issues by 25% by June 30, 2024.
Develop and implement a County Wide LGBTQ Alliance by February 20204.
Increase funds by 30% by April 2024.
Increase ACTIVE membership by 24% by May 2024 by holding two informational/ recruiting events by December 2024.
Increase our organizations public recognition by 50% within the next six months through using our prescribed goals.
Establish contact and build connections with three community partners within the next year. These connections will aid us to be more effective as we serve our community.
Within the next four months, develop three brand new programs/ events that will garner a broader audience, strengthen our partnerships and increase our revenue.
Working with the PRIDE PLAYERS to produce another dinner theater program that will increase our revenue but also increase our awareness.
Create a marketing plan for Instagram and Facebook that includes a minimum of 12 posts per month.
