Our History

Our History: 

The Hawthorne Pride Alliance was developed in June 2020 in conjunction with Mayor Richard Goldberg, Mayor Emeritus of Hawthorne, and residents of the Borough of Hawthorne to educate, to dedicate, to motivate and to celebrate the members of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies.  Since our inception, we have provided and will continue to provide opportunities  to educate, to dedicate, to motivate and to celebrate the members of the LGBTQ community and their allies, not just in Hawthorne, but also throughout Passaic County.
